FAQs

  1. What is “technical climbing” in trekking?
  2. The technical climbing simply means when a trekker is required to use some technical gear, some equipment to climb and come down from mountains during their trek. Those gears will help in keeping the trekkers safe during their climb.

  3. Is there any specific technique that is required to be used by trekkers to cross the glaciers and steep ascents?
  4. Well, yes, the techniques that trekkers can use while climbing the expeditions is the crampon techniques and the right walking technique.

  5. As a beginner - first-time trekker, can I join an expedition?
  6. Unfortunately, no. Even though most of the easy expeditions are beginner-friendly, they also require trekkers who are fit and have at least some prior high-altitude trekking experience.

  7. Can a smoker truly do an expedition without facing any problems while trekking?
  8. No, doing an expedition requires you to have adequate breathing circulation, and smoking can affect that.
